The Museum of World Culture is an exciting platform for creative meetings and events. The museum's bright and modern architecture offers great opportunities to customise different types of events, from the big fairto the smaller meeting.

The core of The Museum of World Culture is its big and bright staircase and in The Museum you will find many exciting areas to meet. Here you can find four seminar rooms, one auditorium and five exhibition galleries where our guests are placed in the centre of the exciting matters of our time.

The Museum of World Culture has hosted corporate events, client mingle, fashion shows, fairs and private dinners. The museum is also an excellent venue for weddings and other private gatherings.

The rent for all seminar rooms and the studio includes projector, screen, whiteboard and wireless internet. You will bring your own computer, and if you require other technical equipment we will arrange this for a fee. Ask for an estimate. The premises of the museum are all rented out tax-free. The studio


With its impressive 24-meter high ceiling, grand light and close contact with the nature outside, the staircase becomes a lovely meeting place for both larger and smaller groups. The staircase is perfect for mingling, short seminars or smaller exhibitions and fairs, or why not a wedding? This area has a capacity of 1000 people standing, 200 people seated around the stairs and 300 seated on the stairs. The staircase can only be rented when the museum is closed to the public. Rent the staircase between the hours 5pm - midnight: 15 000 SEK, or between 5pm – 2am: 20 000 SEK.


High up above the stairs, under The Museum's roof, you will find the amazing bridge. This is an open room with great views in all directions. The bridge is ideal for dining or mingling. In the evenings you can see the lights from our nearest neighbors Liseberg and Universeum through the deciduous trees. The bridge is usually called Gothenburg's most beautiful living room and it accommodates 150 people for standing or 80 people seated

Rent the bridge daytime for a half day: 7500 SEK, evening rentals from 15000 SEK.


Up at the top of the staircase you will find located the restaurant deck. Here you have a good view of The Museum's atrium, and you will soon discover exciting new perspectives of the architecture. This is also the museum's restaurant, Tabla, which serves everything from light café food to delightful lunch buffets with tastes from all around the world. If you rent The Museum after closing time, you can customise the menu along with the restaurant or enjoy their a la carte menu. Adjacent to the restaurant there are two smaller terraces, one with a lawn.

On Mondays when The Museum is closed to the public, all the museum's premises can be rented.
Full day: 50 000 SEK.
Evening rent, ask for an estimate.


Full day: 08:00 to 17:00
Half day: 8:00 to 12:00, 17:00 or 13.00- 18.00- 21:00
Weekends: Saturdays and Sundays 12.00-17.00
