The Anna Lindh Foundation
The National Museums of World Culture has been appointed national coordinator of the Anna Lindh Foundation. The foundation is a part of the Barcelona Process initiative for intercultural dialogue, and consists of 43 national networks within the European Union and the Mediterranean region.
As coordinator of the Swedish network the National Museums of World Culture hopes to create a common point of departure and to challenge the image of cultures as homogenous and static.
The Swedish Network
The Anna Lindh Foundation is a "network of networks", and gathers 35 national networks under one central administration. Since the inauguration of the foundation in April 2005, many organizations have been interested in becoming members of the Swedish network.
