Theme: Tsukimi – Moon-viewing
Ikebana - the art of arranging flowers in Japanese traditions.
Get acquainted with Japanese aesthetics through unexpected color combinations, clean lines and the interplay between vases, flowers, leafs and stalks. Be inspired by the material and find the balance between the moment and yourself. Each workshop will base on a theme.
Beginners and continuing students are welcome. Course Leader: Judit Katkits, A. Master of Ichiyo Ikebana School.
At each workshop, we make two ikebana arrangements, one in a dish with low edge and one in a high-pitched vase. The flowers are included in the course fee, but please bring pruning scissors, a dish with edge and a straight vase (but avoid glass).
