HOW TO FIND US
Means of Transportation
The Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities is located in Skeppsholmen, in the city of Stockholm. You can reach the museum by bus 65 from Centralen (Vasagatan). Get off at the stop at the East Asian Museum. One alternative is to walk from the subway (Kungsträdgården stop). You can find the museum on the left side after crossing the bridge to Skeppsholmen.
Parking spaces are located in front of the museum and behind the Modern Museum in Skeppsholmen.
Free Internet Connection
We offer our visitors free Wi-Fi. Please ask for login details at our reception.
You can shoot pictures without using flash, a tripod and selfie stick. Please share your pictures in social media channels.Please contact the reception if you plan to shoot pictures for commercial use.
Bags and storage
Backpacks, larger bags (or equivalent) and umbrellas are to be kept in the storage cabinet for visitors' safety. Cabinets are located adjacent to the entrance of the museum, no coins needed.
Children Carts and Baby Changing Facilities
It is permitted to bring in a stroller to the museum, and we dedicate a stroller parking space between our shop and the closets section. It is not possible to lock the wagons. There is a changing room available for infants/babies as well as restrooms.
Only guide dogs are permitted to be in the premises. Do not leave your pet tied at the entrance of the museum.
The museum offers weekly viewings which are open to everyone. It is always good to book your own viewing session with the museum's educators if you are a group visiting the museum.
